Cake Mix, Candy Jar Cookies

Cookies! Cookies! Cookies! Doesn't everyone love cookies?

So the last couple of weeks we have made things not quite from scratch. We have had Disappearing Brownies and Pumpkin Popovers because you just don't always have time to bake.

So I bring you another fake and bake recipe.

My friend Sarah made these cookies from cake mix years ago and she blogged about them and I filed it away in the back of my head.

I had some mini candy bars left over and I had a box of German Chocolate cake mix. So I decided to whip these up and they were pretty good.

What you'll need:

a box of cake mix, of course!

1/2 cup vegetable oil or butter

2 eggs

1 - 2 cups chocolate chips, nuts, candy, etc

Preheat your oven to 350 and spray your cookie sheet.

Combine your cake mix, oil and eggs. Mix thoroughly.

Unwrap those candy bars and throw them in the blender or food processor.

Throw your candy pieces into the cake mix.

Spoon your cookie dough onto your cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. This yielded 24 cookies.

They were good.
