Do you ever pull a clean shirt out of your dryer, slip it on and see an oil stain on it? It's infuriating! Where do these things come from?!?!
I have so many shirts ruined by oil stains. And I don't have that many shirts to begin with. So I knew I had to find a way to get rid of these stains for good.
I hit the internet and found quite a few places. This post from Northern Belle Diaries was a good place to start. But she used WD40. And I didn't have any. Plus I just wasn't going to further ruin a shirt if this method didn't pan out!
So instead of WD40 I decided to use just good old fashoined Resolve.
What you'll need:
A hard surface to slide under your shirt
Step 1. Douse the shirt in stain remover.
Step 2. Sprinkle the doused area with baking soda.
Step 3. Scrub in with toothbrush.
Step 4. Add dish soap and conintue to scrub.
Step 5. Let sit for 5-30 minues.
Step 6. Wash, dry and be amazed!
What about you? What are your tips for stain removal?
