(Free!!!) Printable Nativity Advent

Tomorrow (or today when you are reading this) begins advent! It's the time we wait... the time we wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus and we enter a precious time of worship.

I love it. I love it even more now that I have children. And now that Ry is two he really has something to look forward to.

I wanted to make a special advent calendar just for him and share it with all of you. Click here to download.

Each day we will cut out a star and place it on the calendar until the 25, when we will put the angel in his/her place.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,  "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

Luke 2: 9 -14.

What are you doing to count down til Christmas?

Our Fall Family Fun To Do 2013 (free printable)

I read somewhere that there are only 900 some odd weekends for a child from birth to high school graduation. That got me thinking... maybe I should make some plans to make some plans. So I decided to make a list of things I want to do and not just a list of things I need to do.

So I made "Our Family Fall To Do." It's filled with fun things and activities to do with toddlers and young children.

You can print your own list here, or the black and white list here (so I don't hog all your ink).

So far this is what we have checked off our list.

We've baked lots of new things and I will have new recipes and ideas for you in the upcoming days and weeks.

We went on a hay ride at our church fall festival. That was two birds right there. I am really not sure why no one in this photo looks happy, I assure you we had a great time.

Ry rode the hay ride five times. Five times!

We carved a pumpkin over the weekend.

And we had a good time picking out the pumpkin at the farmers market. (I assure you, again, we had a good time. I don't know why NO ONE looks happy.)

So we are trucking through our fall to do list.

What's on your list of fun things to do this season?
