Beef Biscuits- yum, yummm

I should rename this blog "Lydia stuffs things into biscuits."

This recipe is one of Beardface's favorites. He loves it. Last week I asked if there was a meal I hadn't made in a while that he wanted. He said, "beef biscuits" without even thinking.

It's basically a meat pie with ground beef, barbecue sauce and a little cheese all stuffed in a biscuit.

This would also fall under out Eats on The Cheaps because the entire recipe cost about $4.50 total.

I saw this recipe in the back of a magazine once. It was insanely easy so I made it. Then I made it again and again and again.

It requires no effort, few ingredients and zero time.

What you'll need:

A can of Jumbo biscuits - 8 to a can

1/2 pound ground beef

1 cup cheese

onions, corn, mushrooms etc. (optional. All optional.)

half a bottle of bbq sauce


2 cups catsup (ketchup)

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp onion powder

Muffin pan

(mix the catsup, brown sugar and onion power in a boiler and let simmer for a few minutes)

Preheat your oven to 350.

Heat a skillet over low heat and brown that beef- breaking it up with a fork. I sometimes add onions, corn, mushrooms etc. etc.

Add your barbecue sauce.

In a muffin pan make a cup out of the muffins and push them down in the pan.

Fill each "cup" with a little beef and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Then end!

I served my with a little broccoli slaw. It was fabulous.”works
