There is no knead for that!

I have heard about no knead bread for a while. It sounds so easy!

Well yes, it is easy. But it involves more than the title would indicate. Well, not that much more, but more than my no knead pizza crust. It is still super easy.

What you'll need:

3 cups all-purpose unbleached flour ("Ummm.... Lydia, I Googled this recipe and it says bread flour!" Well yeah, but who has that lying around? )
1/4 teaspoon instant yeast - I buy the kind in the jar and keep it in my fridge.
3/4 tablespoon of kosher salt
1 1/2 cups warm water
Covered pot large cast iron Dutch oven or a Pyrex dish.
In a bowl mix together everything. It will be sticky and not look like bread dough you've ever worked with. Don't fret. It will all be fine later.
Cover with plastic wrap and go to bed. This thing needs to rest for 12 hours. Once it's ready it will have bulked up and it will be covered in bubbles.
Sprinkle a little flour on a surface and your hands and turn the dough in the flour.

Then wet a towel and place your dough ball in the towel. Wrap the towel around the dough and place back in your bowl for a couple hours.
Preheat your oven to 450 and grease up that Dutch oven. Put the bread in the pan and bake for 30 minutes covered. Then uncover and let bake for another 20 minutes. I sprinkled mine with a little basil and garlic salt. It was fantastic. I made one for now and one to go in the freezer later.
It will be fab. I promise.
