Birthday Fun and FREE party printables

My sweet boy is two today! I still can't beleive it's been two years since Ry was born on his "magic" birthday 11-11-11.

It's gone by in a flash. It's true what people say, DON'T BLINK!

This weekend we joined with family and friends to celebrate his birthday with a "train party." My boy loves all things tractor, truck and train. So he had a blast.

I thought I would share with all of you some details and give you some free "choo choo party" printables like the invitation I designed and our cupcake toppers.

Ry's party was a total famly affair. My dad converted his riding lawnmower to a train, which he used to pull the party goers around our front yard.

And my mom made these super cute train pants! (And she also painted him a shirt, which you can see in the top photo.)

We served really simple foods like

Mini baked sandwiches

Creamy Peanut Butter Dip for apples

Buffalo Chicken Dip

And Mini homemade mini corndogs (recipe below)

Of course, cup cakes and ice cream

Mini Corn dogs:

Yields 48

6 all beef hotdogs (I reccomend Nathan's)

2 boxes Jiffy Quick Cornbread Mix

2 eggs

2/3 cup milk

Spray your mini muffin pan and preheat your oven to 350.

Mix your Jiffy Mix, eggs and mix. Drop your cornbread in to your mini muffin pan.

Slice your hotdogs into little pieces and drop a peice in each "muffin." Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

I made these cupcake toppers as well as the invitations and tags for goodie bags and the food table. I wanted to share it with you FOR FREE!!!

Throw your own train party and use these cute printables. And if you do leave me a post about it on our Facebook page!
