Pizza Pot Pie

Who doesn't love pizza? I mean love it.

I wanted pizza the other night. But I wanted to try something a little different. Pizza Pot Pie!!!!

This was crazy simple. I mean crazy simple and will make a great week night meal.

You basically put your favorite pizza toppings in a pan and then cover it with crescent rolls and then bake. You could customize it the way your family loves it. Just vegetables for veggie lovers or lots of ham and bacon for meat lovers.

This is the recipe I used.

What you'll need:

One can of Pilsbury Crescent Rolls (8 Rolls) 

1/2 pound ground beef or sausage

10 - 20 pepperoni

1/2 a yellow onion, diced

1 green pepper, cut into strips

1 red pepper, cut into strips

Italian seasoning

1 tbsp garlic

1 jar pasta sauce

1 cup cheese, I used white cheddar because that's what I had.

Preheat oven to 350 and line a casserole dish or pan with aluminum foil.

Cook onions and garlic in a little olive oil in a skillet over low heat.

Add your meat and brown.

Here come the vegetables!

Add your pep, pep, pepperoni.

Add your sauce and let simmer for a few minutes.

Sprinkle on your cheese.

Add your crescent rolls, pinch the perforate areas. Then spinkle with a little more cheese and some Italian seasoning.

Bake on 350 for about 20 minutes.

Serve to your happy family with a spinach salad and some fruit.
